Handy
There have been lots of moments that I wish I could have caught on camera...on a video camera. I already had a Kodak digital camera before I bought the Sanyo Xacti but it doesn't take very good video. I love that you can take still photos anytime during filming with the Xacti. I don't plan on going underwater with this but if I get caught out in the rain with this, I'm happy that it won't be a disater. Sanyo VPC-E2 - Not Great
The camcorder takes poor video. I did not test the waterproof function.
Upon installing the software and taking a video, the software did not allow me to view the video on my computer - only to burn to a dvd. The quality was very grainy and unclear. Perfect size camcorder though - would be wonderful if the quality was improved.

Hot Camcorder/Digital Camera
This camera is very hot. I bought it for my 16 year old daughter who constantly steals my camera and she absolutely loves it. The handle and the ease to which you can shoot pictures or movies is simple and fast. The picture quality is awesome and it is very light weight. It is the perfect vacation camera.
